fridgedaire issues after two months

So our issues continue with the new Georgetown, this time with the residential fridge. Freezer staying below zero but fridge won't get colder than 52.

Tried hard reset by turning off at the breaker...after turning off inverter of course. Not a power problem. Reset to factory settings with no luck. After about 4 hours it started cooling again, only to go back to 52 an hour later.

Here's the kicker...a fridgedaire tech won't pull the fridge, and the dealer techs need to have a fridgedaire tech actually do the work...whatever it requires...after they pull the fridge.

When we bought the coach we thought "great, any fridge repairman can work on it if necessary. But...any ole fridge repairman can't just slide it out like one in a residence. Something to think about

call frigidaire, they will give you the repair co. that will come to you and fix your unit, if its under warranty which it should be, was told by the tech they sent to fix mine, they are made to be repaired without taking them out of the cabinet, there is a fan in the freezer section that goes bad, my freezer would get super cold than go into defrost and the bottom stayed in the 50's

Yes, please report back. If they happen to pull it, maybe you could peak to see how it's done.

Ok folks problem solved!

The damper door in the bottom of fridge compartment was dammed with ice. But why? The mulion (sp?) (The flapper on right hand door) was not closing properly because the right door was too low, not allowing thw mulion to make contact with the channel when closing the door.

Something that FR or the dealer should have checked prior to delivery no doubt. But problem solved now so onward!

If you need any applianve repair in central Florida, we can highly recommend Fields Appliance Repair. 407-299-2040

glad it went well, the appliance people are generally more helpful than most dealers or rv techs,
