FROG Rally

Does anyone know the date for the FROG Rally this year? I have never been and plan to attend this year. Also, I assume reservations are needed??

Buddy,
The dates for this year are August 9, 2015 - August 15, 2015, and yes, you will need to register. Registration typically open up around the 1st of March.

Thanks Tom. Do most people stay the entire 7 days? If so, what keeps everyone occupied for the entire time? Maybe a dumb question but do they have full hookups and how many MH's can they accommodate?

Buddyu, I don't mean to step on Tom's toes, but thought I'd throw in a little bit of information. This year's format will be similar to last year's, which included (approximately):
  • 6 nights of camping, with water and electricity for everyone, approximately 200 sewer sites, and a free pump-out for anyone not on a sewer site
  • 10 meals (four dinners, six breakfasts)
  • several potlucks around the grounds
  • 45 vendors
  • 65 seminars
  • 18 plant tours
  • 5 optional area tours, some of which included lunch or dinner on a "non-dinner" night
  • RV display
  • 2 nights (which turned into 4) of entertainment
  • free factory service
  • various shenanigans around the campground (you'll have to ask someone else, because "I know nothing" about them
  • ice cream (FROGs can eat the heck out of ice cream)
  • daily attendance prizes
  • and more
Last year we had 510 units, and I expect to be around 700 or a few more this year. I think you'll want to stay for the week, as nearly everyone does. We'll look forward to seeing you there.

My son and I will definitely be there! I wish I had attended in a prior year.

The second link in F.R.O.G. Bob’s signature (www.forestriverfrog.com) is where you will find official information about the Goshen FROG rally and also the local rallies that are hosted by FROG members. Membership in FROG is free but there is usually a fee to attend the rallies. FROG also periodically sends out a club newsletter via email to members.

The Forest River Forum (FRF), which you are currently reading, is a privately operated entity and not officially associated with Forest River Inc., the RV manufacturer.

The Forest River Owners’ Group (FROG) is the official club of the RV manufacturer Forest River Inc.

Not all members of FRF have joined FROG and conversely, not all FROGs are members of the FRF.

Bob, screen name F.R.O.G., is a member of the FRF and also is the Director, Forest River Owner’s Group (FROG).

I’m pretty sure I made this sound as confusing as possible. Just remember that you can always find official rally information at www.forestriverfrog.com

Buddyu,
Most people stay for the entire rally. There is always something 'interesting' going on! Everyone has a great time and as F.R.O.G Bob indicated, there is Factory Service available to all attendees along with great dinners and breakfasts. Also, the available tours that are arranged are a great deal of fun. We can't wait for this years event.

We have been to the International all 3 years and several local campouts, you will not be disappointed and there is plenty to do all week.

There is also some very neat stuff to do in the area like RV Hall of Fame, Golfing, Notre Dame, and Shipshewana (Amish Community).

I know NOTHING about any "interesting goings on" at the Rally

Plan to stay for the whole rally! Many FROG's arrive 1-3 days early and say a day or so after the rally.

x2 to everything FROG Bob & Tom said! This is the best RV rally we have ever attended - can't wait to see what FROG Bob and his team have dreamed up for us this year!

Speaking of which, Happy New Year All!!

You know Bob this may be the year we make it to the rally.
As soon as you post the registration in march I will try and be the first one mailed back to you.
Will you have me park in the back 40 area?
Have a great year and say hi to Cindy for us.

I thought I put you far enough from the Phat Phrog Stunt Team that you couldn't get into trouble with "that bunch." Apparently youroo was too busy dumpster diving to keep a proper eye on you!

Good luck to the Tide at the Sugar Bowl tonight.

Buddyu. DW and I went for first time last year. All ready to go back. Along with what others have said, you'll also meet some really nice folks, make new friends, take day trips to surrounding areas, etc. We're in our 50s and had a good time.

Mike, you asked Youroo to "keep a proper eye" on someone? Maybe you could also recommend a fox that I could assign to guard the hen house.

BTW, since you mentioned "Tide," do you know why Eskimos wash their clothes in Tide?

Wait.

It's coming.

It'll be here.

Because it's too cold to wash them out Tide.

Bob, there's a golf cart history that predates you. Not exactly an honored, hallowed tradition, but a history. I think our crack(ed) security team is still investigating.
