Front A/C doesn't work with generator power

Have a 2012 378TS . My front A/C used to work on generator power now it doesn't . It's fine once we're running on campsite power. My back AC works fine on either . Any ideas on what problem might be?

Have you lost power to any other AC items that may be on the same buss? Checking your CB panel in the bedroom will show you what items are on the same buss. If so, check for an open CB on the generator itself.

bubbles gave you some good advice.
Also how are you plugging into your generator?
Do you have an adapter or does your shore power cord plug directly into the generator.
If using an adapter, maybe one leg is open.

Rigs with two A/C units run one A/C on one 50 amp leg and the second unit on the other 50 amp leg of your 4 prong shore cord. If everything works OK when plugged into shore power, something has to be amiss in feeding one of the legs from your generator.

I also have a 2012 378TS.
The generator is hard wired into a transfer switch. No plugs.

The answer is to check your transfer switch to see if the generator is producing both hot phases to the transfer switch.

If you are able to find that the generator is doing its job check the contact in the transfer switch. It seems 1 hot leg isn't making it thru the transfer switch.

P.S> My transfer switch failed when new and was changed out with a better one under warranty.

That is the best I can suggest at this moment.

Check the Generator, it sounds like one of the breakers on the GENSET may have tripped. that would allow one AC to work while the other will not. Had it happen to me on a trip earlier this year.

My Thanks to everybody who responded. I pulled cover off generator and checked breakers( something I should have initially done)found one off and reset it. Will try A/C once we disconnect from shore power in a couple of days and let you know but I suspect that was the issue
