front a/c not operating 357

Had my generator and front a/c on in my new 357QS. The generator cut out during first minute of start up . A/c kicked in then stopped. Re-started the generator turned a/c unit on ..nothing..check the breaker..nothing..can hear a click everytime i turn the fan on. The click is at the dash area.

Check rear a/c and works find..check all fuses ..all good..headin out this afternoon..hate to stopp at dealer if it is simple

Any suggestions?

It's odd the click is coming from the dash area. I would think the front roof AC should be tied into the 110V breaker box only. Maybe someone else has more knowledge of this.

Hopefully your generator didn't go low voltage when it died and fry the AC.
Typically you should let the generator run for a few minutes and stabilize before putting any loads on it.

Front air

When the air conditioner's cycle is interrupted the high pressure will prevent it from restarting right away. You have to wait until the pressure equalizes before starting it again; usuallly 15 to 2w0 minutes.

Great to hear it wasn't something serious. So now the rest of us can store this in the old memory banks in case it ever happens to us. Thanks for posting your find.
