Front Bed Couch on a 335 DS Georgetown

When we use our couch bed in our 335 DS Georgetown, there is no room to get by to the kitchen. Poor planning by Forest River. Has this been a problem with others.

I looked at the floor plan and it does seem strange how they did it. Also, how to you access the rear of the coach with the main slide closed.

You can get to the rear with the slides closed but mnobel52 is right that you cant get by the bed when it is out. I didnt think it would matter to me but now im planning a trip with 2 others and we will use the bed...

It's perhaps a very poor design but when you looking at where your sofa is in most coaches....and how long it has to be for even the average person to sleep on it....where else are you going to put it.....about the best you can do is open your slide and put your guest in sleeping bags instead of opening the bed which might give you a little more room but again looking at you coach....taking into account that your slides can only go out so far, where else are you going to put it?? Would love to hear any suggestions as we all have that problem unless you have one of the bigger motor coaches.

I just climb over. Usually grandkids using it. I slept on it one night. It is a terrible bed. Do your guests a favor, get a topper to put on it or put an aerobed on the floor.

Either way depending on how often you have guest, that's just something else to store....as you do, let the grandkids sleep on the sofa bed....does not bother them in the least.
