Front shade

Ijust bought a 2012 Georgetown 337DS and the front shade does not come all of the way down. Is this normal or am I missing something?

Put front shade won't work in the FR search engine. I had posted the instructions on here awhile ago..so have others.

One thing to remember, it will not come all the way down with the ignition on, but will and should come down all the way when the RV is shut down. At least that's how the 378's work

Here is the manual for my power shade. It has the setup for the shade which has a hidden switch on the drivers side you must use to setup properly.
See page 8,9 and 10

Our shade has just had a similar problem..it will go up and down only an inch...at least it is at the top so I can drive. your manual says the most common problem is loss of set limits. We are on the road, and no battery problems that may have caused this. Forest river sent me a list of dealers in the Reno area, they need to update the list, they should at least be able to get a new owner the correct info for service. A list of 4 dealers,
1 out of business, second on list only deals with trailers and the other 2, we may see them, 1st appointment available in 6 weeks! That was their extent of help.

Welcome and greetings

Take a look at Iggy's link above (post #5), page 5 of the PDF.

The learning switch is plugged in and is inside the left windshield trim, it's a little hard to find and get out of the trim, no tools required.
