Full Banks Package??

While reading this forum, I have seen a few folks describing their G'tn as having a "Full Banks Package" or similar.

Now, I know banks sells aftermarket engine stuff like headers but exactly what is it and does it really add the HP, MPG and other stuff they suggest?

Bill

Full Banks refers to the Banks Power Pack system which consists of a new exhaust system(including headers), new air intake (with K & N filter) and a ECM programmer.
Does it work?... It does for me! I've noticed a substantial increase in power. Interstate grades that I used to take at 55mph I now take at 65. Acceleration is quicker also. I haven't noticed an increase in mpg, but no decrease either. Keep in mind I'm moving down the road a little faster....It's a little pricey, but if you do a lot of driving in the hills, I highly recommend it............I kind of like passing DPs on the hills!

I only added the Banks Cold Air Intake System with the K&N Air Filter and noticed a big difference in pedal response. Better MPG-doubtful but as stated above I climb hills better without the need to push the pedal to the floor and turn 4500 RPMs plus.
