It'll be 1 year for my family (of 4) in 2 days.

Do your or wife use Facebook? There are some full-time RVing groups that could really be an eye opener for her.

Not a full timer but do spend 3 plus months on the road on long vacations.
I still need a place to go home to and other needed services such as medical, dental, etc.

We have been dull timing since 2009 and we enjoy it, takes a while to get use to be can't replace the memories that we have experienced.

We're full timing it for 2 years. Just started, it's been 12 days since we left the SF Bay Area. Time has always seemed to fly but these 12 days must have been on rocket fuel they went by so fast. The hardest part was getting our house ready for our renter, it's amazing how much stuff we accumulated over the years. Before we left the thought of it was a bit scary but these 12 days have been great, just wish I didn't have to work. My wife and kids will be able to sight see a lot more than me because of that 4 letter word.

We did it for 7 months. I loved it and my DW did not. I had hoped for at least a couple of years of full timing.

I'm a woman alone about to reach the end of my first year, and love it. There is still a lot I don't know, and I have to ask for a lot of help! My daughter lives with me. She just turned 18 the summer.

My wife and I have been FT in our 2014 378 for almost two years. Spend the winter in Florida near the grands and travel 6 months. Suggest you look at a great RV social network called www.RVillage.com and check out the full timers group. Meet over 3000 folks "living the dream" of full-time.

3.5 Years! Sold the house, said goodbye to friends and neighbors and have been rolling on the road! We are both Navy retired and have had the itch to go forever. We workamp 3 months at a time a various national parks and such and, believe me, we would NOT have any other way of life right now. You meet the best folks, sample the best food, see parts of our country that most folk only dream about. LIFE IS GOOD!

Ok so I've read all the posts and some of you have been at this for some time. Now for those of you that don't work on the road or volunteer for something I.e. Camp host how do you fill your days?? I've been giving the lifestyle some thought and I keep wondering what would I do all day, that is when not moving on!

I don't think a lot of folks think about this but that is only one reason why I would not go full time. Later RJD
