Fuse box question
This is kind of a dumb question, but does anyone know how to remove the black cover over the under dash fuse panel? My radio and acc outlet stopped working this morning, and I suspect the fuse, which I think is in the under dash group.

Just pull the black over off.
It's only held on by some plastic clips.
Don't be scared to pull it. It won't break.
Pull the two tabs next to the arrows.

Thanks Iggy, that did it. Didn't want to break it. Not the easiest place to get to!

I also have a problem with the radio and accesories plugs not working on my 2007 Georgetown 359XL. My Ford manual does not show where the fuse is, can anyone help.

If memory serves me, you squeeze the two tabs together with finger and thumb to release it from the panel. Comes right off easily.

One more question, does anyones manual show which fuse it is. My manual doesn't show it. I have the 2007 359XL TS. Still running good and still happy with it.

Have the same problem with my 2013 378XL. Radio will not come on, suspect fuse.

I have checked the fuses under the dash, drivers side, and they are fine. I also checked the fuses under the hood, no problem there. Does anyone know if there is another fuse that controls power to the radio and the accessory plugs? I'm baffled.

I have not had this issue but there are only 2 other fuse panels (I believe). The one in the bedroom (power distribution panel) and the battery control center panel (box) under the steps. At least that is where it is in my GT378. I can't remember if there was an inline fuse for either of those items. I know power for my TV antenna booster is in the battery control center panel. FR does not pinpoint where the fuses for a number of items are located. It's just hunt and see. The radio can be switched over to coach power. Does it work then? Seems like the radio fuse should be up front in normal operation. Maybe someone will chime in with a correct answer for you.

Does radio work if you go to house power? I have a switch on the dash.

Radio has an inline fuse behind it. Checked all fuses, found Clarion VX401 had died, so replaced with a Kenwood DDX394. Very happy with it so far.

Okay, so it is a fuse under the dash, 15 amp, that controls the radio and accessory plugs. I think it is #16 (not positive) but it is called a 'body builder' fuse. Replaced my blown fuse and everything works.
