FYI - Replacement wiper blades for Georgetown

Just wanted you to know that I just recieved a pair of the windshield wiper blades for my 2012 Georgetown
ANCO T-28-UB Wiper Blade

They are the 28" Transform model blades that have small wind dams on them to hold them solid to the window. They fit my existing wiper arms with no additional mod.

Here is the Anco website if interested.
ANCO Wiper Blades: Products

Here is the Ebay site that sells them with free shipping.

Here is a picture of what they look like
Have not tested them in rain while driving yet but they do hug the windshield.

Iggy, take a look at this chart. According to it the new Georgetowns use the 32" blades.

All I can say is thaat I have 28" OEM blades on it now.
Also the winshield may be a little different with the larger window and front cap than the 2010. Her eis a picture of mine with the oem blades that came with it.

Anyone read the wiper blade ("WIPER BLADE BATTLE") test, pg 50 in the April issue of MotorHome?

They converted to 28" because they are easier to find so they could test several brands

They did notice one difference, the 28" blades didn't chatter as much as the 32's.

Wish I would have checked before paying over $40 each for a pair at the dealer. Seriously consider 28" now. Iggy let us know how they work.

It will be a few months before I will get into an area that has rain.
I'm planning the trip to the FROG rally in Ontario Canada/Niagra Falls in June. That is why I bought the blades because mine OEM's are OK but here in Arizona they dry up quickly. I don't have them on the MH yet because its out in the sun.

Maybe I need to subscribe to Motorhome magazine.

Iggy, wanted to let you know I stand corrected. I finally got off my Duff and went out and measured mine, they are indeed 28". Maybe the article Abjb mentioned has something to do with it. I found a Trico brand, but they are expensive. $35.00 and up. Think I will stick with you and the ANCO.

Also, found a tidbit the other day that will help with your sun problem. It was suggested to go to Wally World and buy a couple pieces of the split poly (noodle) like they use for play in swimming pools and apply this over your blades. Sound like a cheap fix fo UV light. Lots cheaper than new wipers.

FYI....found these at Rockauto for 2 blades less $5.00 rebate = $19.00

Part Number Part Type Price EA Core EA Quantity Total

ANCO T28UB Wiper Blade $ 8.20 $ 0.00 2 $ 16.40
Shipping Priority Mail $ 7.63
Order Total $ 24.03

ANCO also has a $5.00 rebate going on until 4/30

Yes I use the noodles for the wiper blades as well as the corners of the 3 slide outs I have. Have hit my head way too many times. lol
So the 2 blades on Ebay cost $32.88 delivered to my door.
These are the top of the line ones from ANCO.

Thanks,
iggy
