Gas cutoff after slide is retracted

Hi, I have a Georgetown 374ts. Recently, after I pulled the slide in (with the fridge) the readout on the fridge was flashing LP. I then opened the slide back up and was able to run the fridge on gas. Has anyone had a problem with the gas shutoff after pulling the slide in? Perhaps a kink in the gas line?

Dave

Dave, I recently had this problem, though not on a Georgetown. My rig is a Coachman QB 30 Freelander. When the slide was retracted the propane hose that feeds the cook stove was being pinched (Much like pinching-off a garden hose) at a 180 degree angle during the slide retraction. My hose was installed incorrectly at the factory and had the potential to create a dangerous gas leak situation. Look under and around your slide for a like scenario or take it in to a dealer, pronto. And....make sure your propane alert alarm is in working order....just in case.

I have a model 360 and had the same problem. Dealer had to crawl in through one of the storage doors and properly secure the gas line which is a rubber hose designed to extend and retract with the slide..it was a 10 min fix and all is well. Just another piece of shoddy work done by FR.
