Gas jumped here (Henderson, KY) last night by .40!! Now $2.19. Thornton's controls the pricing here.

Fuel

Whether it be gas or diesel, enjoy while you can. Prices can and will adjust at some point and we should not WORRY about the industry that could care less about you. They will be just fine! Yes, this may be YOUR time to plan that trip you have dreamed of to a distant place while cost is low. Why not? Providing you have time to do it. While we are quick to criticize foreign oil, the Saudis' pumping low cost crude is sustaining the drop. Will it eventually stabilize and will we subjected to higher prices? Heck yes.
BUT, me for one, will be enjoying the ride!

Things like fuel and food costs are out of our individual control.....like they said in "Frozen", let it go, let it go.....

With $2.25 for diesel here I figure now is the time for a long trip. Google figured out the trip to Arizona that was to cost me $1500 round trip is now going to cost me $800 in fuel.

Crude from the well heads will continue to fall for a few more months.

Local distributors taking some easy profits. Gas here goes from 1.65 to 1.89 for now.

The see-saw swings will continue nation wide for the spring and into summer. All bets off for the Fall at this time. The Crystal Ball is getting very cloudy.....

Make your reservations now for the summer camping season, it will be very good time for travelers.

Paid .70 per liter at Costco in Calgary. It had dropped lower than that to about .67 per liter. Mysteriously, everywhere else in Calgary, gas went up late Friday by about 8c per liter for no apparent reason. Diesel has remained steady at about $1.08 per liter.

(All prices in Cnd$ which is about 20% below the US $ right now)

Friendly site team reminder:

The site team has just spent a considerable amount of time discussing and ultimately deleting many off-topic posts in this thread. Please try to keep the posts on-topic...... which is the PRICE of fuel, at different places in our travel areas.

Thank You....and now back to your regularly scheduled program.

In Pittsburgh, PA regular gas is about $2.29 and at COSTCO and SAMS $2.19. Diesel is about $1.00 more.
