Generator Auto-start

for anyone interested - Installed the Cummins EC30W auto start on my 2013 GT 350TS. It was easy to install myself (about 45 mins) and absolutely worth the money ($500) for anyone with pets.

I did the same and agree with you.Where do you have the remote in relation to the generator module.
I have a 378 and mounted the remote on the last screw on the front end of the counter back splash which is about 14 feet from the remote.
I get a reconnecting message several times a day and the Cummins guy thinks it is too far from the receiver

How is yours doing and how is yours mounted,
Thanks

I mounted the remote on the wall outside the bathroom in the middle of the coach. It works great. It's about 8 ft from the unit. I worked as it should have last week when we were camping and the power went out due to a severe storm. The gen kicked and and had not problems. It was definitely worth the money.

Thanks for the info. I think my problem is the distance between the transmitter and reciever. I will bring it closer as you have.

Best Regards,
John
