Generator Exhaust

2018 GT5 31L5 generator exhaust comes out under the slide. I need to install a Genturi for when we tailgate at football games. I have the Genturi from our last RV. Does anyone have experience with extending or moving the exhaust pipe so I can connect the Genturi with the slide out? Is there some type of temporary extension I can use when the slide is out?

I just got some extension parts from an auto parts store and it works fine.
