georgetown 2014 329ds question

DW and I were looking at pics of 329ds and are wondering what the bleck rectangle shaped thing is under the counter below the t.v.. Thanks in advance.

it looks like its 10 inches tall 30 wide right below counter top, above other cabinet doors. We were thinking counter extension but then saw white counter top with this black thing below, thought maybe a door cover for electronics?

Friends of ours had a similar rig and as I recall it was some of the associated video/audio equipment for the TV etc.

Got that unit

Everyone is right. Storage area and controls for cable/satellite and booster. I changed out the tempered glass with lexan and moved the hinges so it opens up and not down. Also added some usb chargers by the 110v plugs as you come in the door.
