georgetown 328 power to plug ins from inverter

Is there someway to get power to plug ins from inverter when not plugged in or power from generator?

What are you trying to power and what size is your inverter?

Isn't your inverter (changes 12V DC to 120V AC) wired up from your battery bank?

There is but wouldn't last very long. An AC load drawing 5 amps 120 VAC would need about 50 amps steady draw from the battery, at that rate maybe 1 hour of full power.

If you have one of the prowatt inverters it will have two 110v outputs. You could run an extension cord to your TV. You have to keep in mind that the inverter is just big enough to run your fridge.

We fire up the generator anytime we want to watch TV, run the roof AC units or use anything else.
