Georgetown 364TS vs XL 350 TS

Looking at going from a toyhauler to a class A with kids and looking at these two. The two bathrooms sure look appealing, but what are the big differences to be had with the XL besides the 24k chasis and tires please?

Floorplan of 364 seems nice, just worried is pretty big for that chasis but maybe its not an issue.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and experience.

We have had the 364 since May and love it. The XL seems to have a bit more "heavy duty" equipment. However, the towing capacity and the tires seem to be no different between the two. We have the 22 tires and we are able to tow a decent sized Toyota Camry Solara with no problems.

Honestly, if you are hooked on the 364 floor plan, it is difficult to find anything that is better than that one.

Most XLs have full body paint even though it is listed as an option. You also get the bus style baggage doors which are bigger than the regular Georgetoen. The biggest advantage is the 24k chassis though. If you need the two full baths it's hard to beat the 364 though.

Huge difference in ride and handling with the heavier 24K chassis and tires. Also more basement storage with pass through and as mentioned big rig style side opening full compartment doors. Some or all may have greater interior ceiling height also.

I was looking at the Black Diamond package as well in the XL, either way with residential fridge and full paint. Both loaded up with everything is about a 10k difference I think.

I really like the look of the bigger baggage doors for some reason, no idea why. Besides chasis and storage, anything else different?

Thanks for all the help.

My XL has real ceramic tile floors. Padded celeing panels, MCD roller shades.

Georgetown 364TS vs XL 350 TS

We just bought the 2016 364ts. And it has the 26k chassis and the bigger 22.5 tires. It also has the new 6 speed trans. That every one is talking about.

Congrats on your new coach. According to the FR web site your coach is built on the 22k chassis and has a gross combined weight rating of 26k. The Gross vehicle weight rating is 22k. Unless the web site is wrong I was told by my dealer you have to go to the XL to get the 24 or 26k chassis. This means the most your coach can weigh by itself is 22k and the most the coach and any toad together can weigh is 26k.

I have the 364TS. Drove from Louisiana to Virginia and back. Very nice road handling with 22.5" tires and 7.8 mpg on 2659 miles. The one drawback is the tight bathrooms, very hard to use if you are a big person and do not have the slide extended. Once you are at the campground all is well.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards, Al

I have a standard G'town because my length did not come in the XL line. That said, the extra 15k or so for an XL seems well justified by the paint job, tires and bigger basement storage & a bit higher end interior.
One thing I noticed when shoppng though is that even with the larger load carrying capacity...the XL's did not always have additional CCC because they ate up the advantage with heavier construction features like tile. Before I would plunk my $ down...I'd look at actual CCC numbers for models as delivered to insure you can carry all the junk you & the kids need.

Thanks for all the insight and thoughts. Its a tough call..have been comparing both painted and with similar options. Have to see if 10k more for one less bathroom is workable.

One thing I hate in my toyhauler is the small bathroom....im not a big guy at all and i swear when i use the throne my forehead is against the wall. I would be happy with at least one roomy bathroom and shower, but if both were roomy its a bonus (sounds like fine when slides out). I havent seen the 364 yet in person, hard to find them both equipped the way i want side by side or without driving hours.

Looked at the 364 today and liked it better than the XL models to be honest but I was looking at leftover 15s. Couldn't feel or find many differences looking at them...just wish I could add a drivers door but i really liked the space, 2 bathrooms, and a washer dryer.

We liked the 364 over all the other models we looked at. It is a bit of a squeeze getting into the bathroom when closed up, but we don't have a problem.

All things considered, I just don't see any better bang for buck than the 364TS on the market right now....

We bought a 364! Pretty stoked about it, going to take out this weekend if it stays this warm just to see how it all works. Family is excited!

Congrats Jlud, we pick ours up next weekend. Apparently they found a scratch during prep so they had to send out to body shop for repair. Frustrating but I'm in no real rush with winter still upon us.....

Congrats on yours as well. We have ours in a storage lot and have already spent hours in it just getting things out away. So much nicer compared to TT. Bad news is so many trips planned and not enough days off.

When we got our 364 we took her out dry camping to try all the stuff that ran on batteries and generator to make sure it all worked and then the next weekend we went to a KOA and plugged into 50 amp full hook ups to try all of that..
