Georgetown Club

Has anyone ever thought about starting A Georgetown club? I am presently A member of A bounders united chapter in Central Florida.Since I am the owner of A 2011 378ts and no longer A bounder owner it might be nice to be in the appropriate club.If anyone has any interest or ideas lets discuss it.

We would also be interested. We used to belong to the Montana owner club when we towed a Montana 5 wheel. And it was nice to meet other owners at rallys across the USA and see what modifications they had done to their 5th wheels. I know there has been not that many georgetowns sold as Montana's but its a start.

Would be interested here too, but couldn't attend any functions (if there were any) as I always work weekends.

BTW How do you like your new GT compared to the Bounder?

Same here, don't work every weekend but just about all of them.

I have thought about this idea as well, since we bought our GT378 back in December. With this forum it could be easy. Since we fulltime in ours we could attend an get together if the location was right. Midwest in the fall. Florida in the Winter. The Pacific Northwest in the Summer. Great idea. Lets make it happen.

The idea sounds great but the logistics may be something else. For us on the left coast, oh oh I forgot, no politics, get togethers in the east side of the continent presernts a considerable degree of difficulty if only considering the 500 gallons of gas needed to get there. It may be more practical to have a western and an eastern division with mini-rally's in Texas in the spring when the wildflowers are abundant in the Texas hill country. I have not been involved in RV clubs but those clubs I was involved with like sports teams etc require a lot of work and determination. Most folks are just too occupied with their lives to take on the requisite amount of work to conduct such organizing.
Since this forum is for Georgetown owners and provides a ready communication tool maybe the forum/club member could simply post where they are going to be for any length of time and others who are travelling in the vicinity and wanting to meet that person, they could make the effort to get together on an adhoc basis. Only a suggestion that I throw out there for others to chew on and cogitate.

Here is a start. We winter in Florida and would like to meet up with other Georgetown owners that are down in that area. Were going to the Tampa Super show in January, south to Ft Meyers for a week. Since we belong to Thousand Trails and Outdoor World membership campgrounds, we move about them in the Wachula, Orlando, and Clearmont areas of Florida while were down there.
