georgetown heater question

This might sound dumb, but We had to use our heater this part weekend. When I turned it on in the front part of the coach it worked just fine. I have one control in the front and one in the bed room. When I wanted to use the control from the bed room it didn't work. Was I doing something wrong or will it only work in one part and not both to heat the whole coach. We are still working to understand our new home on wheels. Thanks

Funny you should mention - we were in Yosemite this weekend and my wife asked me the same question. We have a 2011 Georgetown 350. Best I can tell, the rear control in the bedroom only controls the rear A/C. There is only one heater and that is controlled by the front thermostat control switch along with the front A/C. Kind of odd - I was hoping that I could control the heater from the rear bedroom as well so that I would not have to get up and walk down the hall to the front control - geez, that kind of makes me sound lazy since the the total distance is maybe 6 feet...but it is a long 6 feet if it is cold in the motorhome.

What can I use to Heat the bed room when I have guest staying up front. We had friends stay and they kept turning off or raising the heat and making the bedroom cold.

On some models of Georgetown has two different heaters. Our 378 has two. the thermostat in front controls the heater, in our case, under the ref and blows thru the ducts in the floor. it also controls the front A/c. The thermostat in the rear controls a heater, also in the front on the opposite side, located under the stove and blows out two ducts into the living room for more heat. I think I have used it once to see if it works. It is designed to add more heat up front in very cold weather. The rear thermostat also controls the a/c in the bedroom.
