Georgetown Insurance

If you do not want to respond that's ok.

I was just wondering how much everyone pays for their insurance for their Georgetown?

No details just a general dollar amount and what company.

Mine is a 2012 model 378
I have Titan Insurance and paid $916 last year
New renewal policy has gone up to $1007. This is with $500 deductable

Hello Iggy.....We have had our trailer insured with GMAC thru Good Sam and ours was going up almost 33% this year. After talking to the folks at Good Sams I got quotes from Progressive and from Blue Sky RV insurance for a lot less. $892.00 vs $588.00 or $624.00. Still trying to decide which way to go.

Hartford, through AARP, $694.00, $500.00 deductible. I have had them for about 10 years, had a few minor claims, very satisfied. California policy.

$560 per year.....$500 deductible.....AAA of Michigan

I was told to check Progressive. But for a MI resident, they were not even close. But I heard for TX residents, they are really competitive.

About $1200 a year. Went up this year because we now fulltime. We insure thru the Gilbert Agency in Orlando.

Very interesting figures. I know it is related to the cost/replacement of the motorhome but it seems it is showing how the premiums are all over the spectrum.
I checked to see if I incresed my deductable from $500 to $1000 for collision and comprehensive reduced the annual figure from $1007 to $865 which was good. I may see what happens when if I increase it to $1,500 deductable

I think we need to make sure we are comparing apples to apples here. Are we all quoting a yearly cost or are some of these prices for 6 months? Is this a replacement value or a actual value policy? I have a 2013 Georgetown 352XL insured with Progressive for $895 per year and it is a replacement value policy.

My quote from progressive is higher. Maybe because I don't haave any other vehicles insured by them.

All quotes should be for 12 months unless ssomeone says its for 6 months.

$598 / 12 months with Nationwide (in FL)
$500 deductible
300k BI
100k PD

Now this is only insuring 65K for my 2010, but as I recall, Nationwide was considerably cheaper than the other offers I had.

I don't know what I am doing wrong but I am paying $1,617 a year with Progressive. Have a 2011 378 TS. $500 deductible. We live in KY. No claims. They must have seen me coming.

I'm sure it has to do with our age, location etc.
I have the following coverage.
Liability $250,000. $500,000
Property damage $100,000
Comprehensive $500 deductible
Collision $500 deductible
Full motorhome replacement cost.
Glass coverage and a few more included things like roadside assistance

Ok, at home now and have policy in front of me. Total for year which started mid July 2012 is $495. Liability 100K/300K each, Property 50K, Comp full replacement 500 deduct., Collision full replacement 500 deduct. Roadside asst., vacation protection, emergency protection and fire dept. service included. I do have 5 hour driver training which affords I believe a 15% discount on liability.

Update after my previous post. Because this thread made me look again at my policy I called my insurance agent after my last post to confirm my coverages. To my surprise I did not have full glass coverage. So because of Iggy's initial question and the great responses, I upgraded my coverage to full glass and upped my liability to 250K/500K. Additional premium for changes $94 for the year. Well worth it.
