Georgetown LED backup lights

Can someone who has the OEM LED backup lights on the back of their Georgetown please take a picture so I can discuss the part numbers with Forest River Georgetown division.

I have the OEM LED tail lights, but incandescent backup lights and I’d like to see about upgrading. Wonder how much this idea is

Iggy.....

Not sure what you have, but SOME Georgetown models have all LED running/brake and backup lights. SOME have no LED lights at all.

However, all the lights I have seen have only 3 screws to attach. Located approximately 12 o’clock, 4 o’clock and 8 o’clock positions. The diameter of LEDS or non-LED are all the same so they’d mount into the rear wall at the same position on all Georgetown models.

Your link is not the brand Forest River is using.

Here’s the best photo I could find......

Notice all lights are LED and back up LED have red ring around the LED. Sometimes I’ve been seeing 3 mounting screws
12 o’clock 4 o’clock 8 o’clock
other times they mourn them
10 o’clock 2 o’clock 6 o’clock

.....but in all cases only 3 mounting screws OEM from Forest River Georgetown assemblies.

Oh well.
My backup lights are like yours. Incandescent.

I think Glo Brite is out of business. I was trying to get their front marker lights but came up empty.

I’ll try to contact Kathy (as per the name to use for Georgetown that Iggy provided on another topic) and let you all know back here if I get any details.

Like AW-NODE used to say.....”Awl be bock!”

Don't have a Georgetown, but I do have LED backup lights. Frankly, I still couldn't see anything when backing up at night. The LEDs weren't profoundly better than incandescent.

So, I bought a small pair of 16,000 lumen LED light bars, and wired them to automatically come on when in reverse. (I flat tow, so I never back up until I get to campground and disconnect). It's like daylight back there now! Just an idea...

Thanks for the update on performance (or lack of performance) of the LED version.

I can’t remember last time I needed lighting for backup lights after dark. I’m retired....why not just arrive tomorrow?

Haven’t heard from Forest River yet on the price, but that will probably put the idea of upgrading to rest.
