Every one that has had a problem with the bolts breaking should file a complaint with the NHTSA. They will investigate the problem and hopefully issue a recall.

I think I'm going to need to do this just saw light next to wall and drivers front corner of floor! ADMINISTRATOR can we get what is needed for this and make a sticky! Bolt size type quantity then the need to square off front end? Anything I'm missing?

Personally I might file a complaint, but Id try to work with FR. Look at the track record with NHTSA and The GM ignition switch debacle. Has anyone died from these sheared bolts? Ive written agencys like this before but to no avail. i wrote NHTSA about lipperts non spec bearing grease and premature seal failure and sent samples. Got a phone call saying they basically agreed and a chuckle. Governments and corporations have the longest running manogamous relationship in the history of the planet. I'm trying a different tack now...I'm writing the corporations with the same interest in quality of construction I have....Insurance companies. Good Luck

Hi everyone, if you are experiencing bolt failures as I have been reading here, please DO contact the appropriate divisions warranty department at FR and give them your VIN and explain the situation in detail. It might trigger something internally...
