Messing with the little bottles is non-productive. Get on utube and check out the amount of work you have to go through to chill the bottle etc. Get a regular gas grill tank, mount it securely in a compartment, buy a long hose from Amazon and have at it. When you refill the big tank have them refill the little tank. The Weber 100 or whatever its called is a great unit, small but handles a fair amount of food. The wheeled stand works well and folds nicely saving space. Saving pennies sometimes costs you dollars. Buy a nice grill and big tank and be confident that you can cook a full meal. Otherwise you face the wrath of she who must be obeyed if you run out of gas in the middle of cooking. Or for that matter in anything else.
Skin on chicken, Kinder's barbeque sauce and plenty of beer make for a nice afternoon. Drive safe, cook it enough and recycle the beer bottles.
