Yes I put the mud flap on, I used the metal drag bars. I drilled through them and used an eyelet for a attachment point. Pictures to follow.
The mirror toppers I bought through the Velca website, the manufacture of the factory mirrors.

Maybe it's just a typo, but I believe the website should be Velvac
