Georgetown VE

I understand that the VE is the entry model for the Georgetown. How does the fit and finish comapare to a regular Georgetown? Do they use the same cabinets or a cheaper version? I need bunks and am interested in the 320 DS. It is hard to beat a full body paint 2011 well optioned for less than $80k.

I would assume that what you miss is the some of the asessories that normally come with the standard Georgetown. For comparison, you need to go to the Forest River web site and compair the two lines. In 2008 the Georgetown XL was the top of the line and a lot of extras were standard equipment and the interior was apointed a little better. The body and frame was the same. I would look at the size of the hot water tank and is it both electric and gas, insulation, artic package, dual phane windows, heat blankets for the water tanks, counter tops and of course the cabinets.

my 280 ve has
19.5 wheels
hard surface counter tops
leveling system
2 tv
home theatre
tank heater
and lots of other goodies
only 2 trips out so far so good
my decision was based on length as i only have room in my yard for 30 ft absolute max
living in the woods on a windy road and steep drive presents its challanges
i would say less than 80 g for any georgrtown with full body paint and a few extras is a good price.
