Question Georgetown XL 337DS not available?

My wife and I have been RV shopping for the past few months, and the Georgetown XL 337DS has recently become our top choice. We really like the combination of relatively short length (33' 5") with a heavy duty 24,000 GVRW chassis, allowing plenty of cargo to be carried.

As of yesterday (9/24/2013), the 337DS is no longer listed on the Forest River web site! It was there the day before, as we were comparing its floorplan to the Georgetown (not XL) 329DS (which we don't like as much).

We're curious - does this mean the 337DS is no longer being offered? Anyone from FR care to comment?

I see the 2014 Brochures are now on line. The 337DS is still in the XL 2014 Brochure but I didn't see it when just looking at floorplans? If that's the Coach you're looking for they're most likely available from someone. Check or even Camping World and search the model number. Call FR or check with a Georgetown Dealer. to the forums.

I have a 2012 337 and absolutely love it. The short wheelbase and superslide and king bed make it a medium size coach with lots of interior and drives like a UPS truck. If FR stopped it it is a real shame. We were at the factory a few weeks ago and the emphasis is on the FR2 chassis which is a bit smaller

I found a new 337xl at Madison RV in Madison Alabama. It was there a couple of days ago. Like you mentioned, a medium size RV with a 24000 lb chassis, large tires, super slide, king bed, is hard to beat. We have put 24k miles on our 2013 and love everything about it, no problems
