The dead bolt lock on its own after closing the door. We could not open the door with key from the outside nor with side openers on the inside.

The dead bolt was lock and there is not an emergency latch you can reach from the inside. The door locked itself. After doing some reading this seems to be problem with Trimark locks. It may be an issue with transportation safety board. Not sure of Forest river position is on this issue. Has anyone else had this problem. Other forms claims this is old model and has up grade to new model back in 2012.

I had mine break when we were inside and the deadbolt handle broke.
Luckily we were at a rest stop and I climbed out the rear window and unlocked it with the keys.
We went to camping world and found the same double lock for about $100 and I installed it at the campground.
The new lock was much stronger compared to the OEM.
Good upgrade and it has two different double sided keys for each lock.

We had that happen on our Georgetown 360RB. Had to remove it from the inside by taking the screws out and stuck a screwdriver in to unlatch it. We bought a new one and put it on, now, we only lock the deadbolt.
