2007 XL 378 TS, 22.5 tires. Just bought it, and it needed all 6 tires. Had Michelins put on and balanced. Runs smooth and true.

Based on this Forum, I had my 2015 364TS aligned at a big-rig shop. Since it was within 90 days, FR said to send them the bill which they reimbursed within ten days. The other thing that isn't aligned at the factory is headlights. Some, like mine were, are way out of alignment creating a dangerous dark area in front of the coach.

My understanding, is that the alignment is done at the chassis factory. Then the RV manufacture builds the coach. All the extra weight changes the alignment. Most RV companies don't do another alignment.

Worn Tires

My front tires have worn down very badly even with only 7000 miles, and the left front is the worse. Since its still ok, would it be better to switch it to the rear instead of leaving it on the front? I'm concerned about the one pair of rear tires being so different in the amount of tread wear? Is that really something to be worried about?

RV dealer took ours in to a Ford shop for alignment before we took possession. Not sure if they balanced tires but there isn't any noticeable vibration. I wouldn't bother unless there is.

I will probably replace the front tires before heading to Texas this winter.
I was always told camber and caster was measured in degrees. Learn something every day.

If his camber was out 2" we both know what that would have looked like.

We did have our alignment done on delivery at a big truck place and it needed it. We also take our Georgetown L to our local Ford place for oil changes and they also inspect with their checklist each year. We had them do the Cheap Handling Fix - and it really made a big difference.(This is discussed elsewhere on this forum but though I would chime in.)

Yes, you should get them balanced.

Smile Georgetowns chime in only please

We have 2012 378xl Michelin XRV 235x80x22.5, have not needed to balance or do alignment. Did 4 corner weight, tires show no unusual wear.
