Georgetowns chime in only please

Either size.....19.5" or 22.5" tire Georgetown owners.....

Do you get/have your tires balanced? Can the bigger tires and the fact that we don't travel at warp speeds get by without balancing?

Just wondering about the other Georgetown owners out there.

we have a 2015 328 and have not had the tires balanced. I would have them checked only if you notice vibrations the steering wheel while driving. Kind of the same way you would with your car. Just my opinion.

I haven't either. No vibration everything seems fine.

Back in 2011 when we had our Georgetown 337 DS we had the 6 rims and tires "zero-ed out" then balanced. Then front end alignment which helped a lot. (they measure the true-ness of the tire AND rim then match them up. It is done on a computer). Not all shops offer this service, the shop we went to specialized in that service.
Sorry to hijack your thread, but you didn't say anything about previous owners. I hope the info helps.

2013 335. Never had alignment. Waste of money unless you need one. Seems silly to me to have an alignment "just in case".

19.5" Fronts not balanced, rears balanced. Fronts were changed at a truck stop at 10.30pm and I was so tired I did not think straight. Rears were changed at the dealer. I have not noted any difference.

34,000 miles from new, no vibrations, no need to spend the money.

My 2015 364ts tires were balanced at the factory. I just had the coach at the alignment shop. It was 2" out of camber. the inside edge of the front tires were wearing down. The toe was fine.

Alignment

Where do you get an alignment at, a Ford dealer because of the chassis?

Tire Balance

We have a 2014 335. Had the tires balanced at about 9K miles and the front end aligned at the same time. No vibration in the front, but the rears were really off. I think both helped the ride and handling.
