GFI Breaker

So I was exercising the genny today and had an electric frypan plugged in and also ran the micro for a load. Something tripped as there is no power to the kitchen and bathroom outlets. The fuse box has a 15A and 20A breaker marked "front GFI" and the 15 A is tripped and will not reset but I only see one GFI outlet in the bathroom that is not tripped. 378TS.

That is how circuits are commonly wired. The GFCI outlet connects directly to the breaker. All other outlets are wired "down stream" from the GFCI. The one GFCI will protect all the others. Once you get the breaker corrected, trip the GFCI using it's test button. All the downstream outlets will be dead. Very common in RV's to have one GFCI protecting ALL of the other outlets.

Please provide a little more info. When you say the breaker will not reset is it the 15A breaker? If so how are you determining that it is not resetting. Note that a GFCI will not reset if there is no power to it.

Try turning off the breaker in the distribution panel then back on. Then try resetting the GFCI.

X2 on moving the breaker in the distribution box to the full OFF position before trying to reset. Seems some breakers will not reset unless the lever is completely moved to off, then back on. Others I've had were not like that and could be simply snapped back in the on position.

Did you have stuff plug in and start gen, you should let click in before you plug stuff in and make sure unplug before shut down.
Just a thought.

there is a standard 15 amp breaker in your panel marked GFI. Turn it off then back on. Next, go to the bathroom and reset the GFI outlet. You may also have a GFI Breaker in your panel box. It will have a yellow reset button on it.

GFI's will not reset unless there is power at the "LINE" connection on the GFI device. If your service panel breaker will not reset after moving it to the full OFF position and flipping it back to ON, then you have either a faulty breaker or a dead short somewhere.
