Global Warming

Can anybody please find global warming for me? I want to go camping so bad and in Mississippi this is ridiculous! 20 degrees and snowing.

We sure aren't reaping the benefits of global warming either. This has been one of the coldest winters in Ohio.

Please note the "global" in global warming. Last year tied with 2003 for the fourth warmest year globally on record. See here for more details.

ependy ... your cartoon is wrong. i live in the st louis area and work outside year round. i can assure you we have had several days since the 90's where it has indeed gotten to zero or below.

i do know however that my diesel will start down to -12 without being plugged in and sitting outside. i really dont care to find out just how low it has to get before it wont.

The term Global Warming went out the window since the global temperatures havn't gone up since the 1990's. So, the climate folks switched out the terminology to climate change, a cover all term. What really hits home is we're all, for the most part, in a deep freeze. That should be good for a healthy dose of doubt going forward. Lets hope anyway.

"Weather reflects short-term conditions of the atmosphere while climate is the average daily weather for an extended period of time at a certain location."

What is the difference between weather and climate?
