Great customer service from forest river

Kevin Stratton has gone the extra mile in helping me with some issues that I have had with my 2015 xl 377 bought new in jan of this year. First one they drop shipped me a control board for my refrigerator that went out on our shake down trip to phx from seattle. The second one is he approved replacing my two front tires on the way home from phx that where bald after only 3500 miles and had the frontend alignment done that the dealer should have done. I paid for the tires and sent him the invoices and they sent me a check in a few weeks. The third thing he helped me with is last week my inverter went out and the dealer was saying it would be 6 weeks before I could get in and then they would need it a couple of weeks to make sure the inverter was bad and to order one from forest river. I asked Kevin if he could ship me one after telling him all the troubleshooting I had gone thru and felt that it would only take about a hr to change out. He said no problem just ship the bad one back. I had the new one in 5 days. Now that is what I call going the extra mile. Forest river gets a lot of bad knocks when a lot of times its the dealers that don't have enough tec's to handle their customers

Sound like FR customer service is great.

I have a question, I just bought a new FR G'Town XL 2 weeks ago, the dealer said that they will register my coach with FR.

Should I wait for FR to make the initial contact with me so I could set you the communication with FR for future services and support, or I have to contact them first to set this up?

Currently, I am waiting for couple weeks to make sure that all paperwork from the dealer reached FR before I am expecting any call or call them.

I truly cannot say enough about Kevin Stratton, the man goes the extra mile to keep you happy!
He will even wrangle your dealer into shape.
Kevin makes Forest River a good name in my household.
I promised him a beer at Goshen and I plan to keep my promise!

Same here with the great service from FR.
On our maiden trip from Grand Rapids, MI to Tyler, TX our TV went out. Call Forest River and asked if I could buy one locally and install it myself. They quickly agreed. My local dealer said it would take at least 3 to 4 weeks to replace the TV.
I purchased a larger smart TV and after emailing the invoice I received a check within a week.
