Grey Water Tank

I had another problem creep up on this short weekender trip.
We had a site that was not full server. Water and Power only.
When I went to the dump station I opened the black valve and turned on the flush. Let it run a bit until clear and stopped the water and closed the valve.
When I opened the Grey water valve, a flash of water then stopped.
I went inside to check the meter, and found it still 3/4 full. Went back out and opened and closed the valve no luck. I figured maybe something blocking the pipe or Vapor locked.
So I grabbed the trusted plunger and plunged the hose end while it was near the drain. The water started flowing great. I am worried I will have this issue, since on here, I have heard horror stories of construction junk left in the tanks. How would they get this out? Is there an access port?
Any advice welcome.

It sounds like you have the small plastic tank hole fell into the tank when they drilled the holes. I am not sure if that piece will ever get out of the tank being its size.
So this may happen now and then and the only solution is to back flush with a hose to move the piece out of the way like you did.

Another method if you have a attached shutoff valve and open the both the gray and then the black for a moment. The black tank if full will push the plastic back into the tank and away from the hole. Ramair has this issue and this is what he has done a few time.

I had the same problem, when the factory drilled through the floor with a hole saw the floor piece fell into the grey tank. I was able to take apart the valve and retrieve half of the piece. The other half is still in the tank but doesn't cause a problem too often.
