8 MPG is about the average under good conditions like level roads. When I tow my car I still get around 7.25 to 7.5 but I'm only towing a Grand Am. Most of the Class "A" get around the same since most are built on the Ford Chassis. Congrats for the new Georgetown!!!

I have a 2011 Georgetown 360 RB, we love it. Sure the typical shakedown problems but, FR Georgetown stepped up to the plate and took care of everything fast.

We LOVE ours! Best bang for the buck hands down. Perfect - no. But we just about have all the kinks ironed out.

Our '03 325 is almost an antique, but we bought it used three years ago w/ only 14,000 miles...we now have almost 40,000 miles on it having crossed the continent twice from Atlantic Canada to Arizona thru almost 30 states (towing a Honda Accord!). It has been great and we love it! I've installed a 32" LCD TV and converted the kitchen "closet" to a pantry with roll-out shelves. Oddly, when I've compared our rig to some newer GTs, I've often thought that the quality has gone down...but maybe that's just "proud papa" syndrome? We're looking forward to another 40,000 miles, Lord willing...

Hey, PISCESMAN, how is that TV mod working out? I have the original in my 2005 and would love to eliminate the digital converter box.

We like our older g'town as well and have not experienced some of the issues some of the owners of newer units talk about. We did buy it used so maybe the original owner had the problems...

Hi Bill...
Glad to hear you're enjoying your GT! On the TV mod, I posted some pics back in Sept of 2010 showing the installation...it has worked great, but I did have some problems with broken solder connections on the LG. I was lucky to find a repair shop that charged me only $75 to fix it. I use a bungy cord to reduce the vibration when we're on the road, but I notice a lot of new rigs have two web straps to hold the LCDs, and I'm thinking about trying them. Try searching posts under the Georgetown forum...if you can't find it, let me know and I'll send you the info. Safe travels!!
