She had the replacement on Apr 21. It will be two weeks Monday. One of the problems that compound the whole issue is that they put her on a blood thinner and took her off the arthritis medicine. This caused a rebound pain effect on all the other joints in her body. She is faithfully doing the therapy and working through the pain. She'll be happy to hear the 6 weeks!

They didnít take her off any of her dozen or so arthritis meds.

One thing that may have help her speedy recovery was Savella for Fibromyalgia.
The therapist kept raving about her very speedy recovery.
She was just getting up to her full dosage and was MORE comfortable than she had been in YEARS!

Then at the end of her rehab her blood pressure went thru the roof!!! 190's over 100's
Sheís off Savella but is NOW taking 3 (was on 1) BP meds just to keep it a little high.

Happy to report DW got full knee replacement on 21st and was able to mount steps to the GT with aid of cane only yesterday. Docs put her back on arthritis meds and gave her thumbs up for short trips in MH of 1 hour as long as trips in/out of MH are limited. Will be released for full travel memorial day. Now I gotta buy TOAD and hitch and by years end social security and full timing.
