has anyone used any injector cleaner like Lucas?

My motrohome has almost 16,000 miles in the past year and have been on the highway for long periods of time.
Should I consider dropping in some Lucas Injector Cleaner in the next few tank fulls? I have heard good things about this lubricant and injector cleaner.
They say 2-3 os per 10 gallons of fuel

Anyone use it?

Iggy,
I use Lucas products occaisionaly and believe its a good product, we used to use the gear lube modifier in my race car and never had a ring and pinion problem.
I have not used the injector cleaner product tho.

I dump a can of seafoam in the gas tank every 10k or so. Been using it for years and I have never had any injector issues. I still have a 94 explorer 4.0 that is past 300k and still runs like a champ and start at -30 or so.

I like sea foam to.
Been using it since it came out in the auto market in the 90's
I'll admit we sold it for a 1.99 back then.

We have a 5,000 mile trip coming up and I will go thru a few gallons of fuel. I just bought a qt of Lucas Injector and fuel conditioner at Walmart. 2-3 oz per 10 gallons = 16 oz per full tank
I don't have any problems but I was told it does cleanup any emmission hardware that may have carbon built up like plugs and exhaust monitors.
My exhaust pipe does have some carbon buit not much. We will see if it helps with unburnt fuel reduction.

Did you know they have a Bugs-Be-Gone product now. Looks impressive. If you lived down south, you would understand our fascination with bug products. 1 word...LOVEBUGS!!

I use Diesel Kleen. It not only has a cleaning additive for my injectors, it also boosts the Cetane rating. I have seen 1.2 mpg improvement when towing.

Use caution here. My ULS 2008 Chevy Duramax hates additives.

It lowered my mileage and clogged my particulate filter on my trip to Florida.

Not keen to start another test after the poor results.
