Heading for Reo Grande vally

Planing on heading for south TX mid Dec. my question is at what temp is it to cold to drive a MH. It is very cold in IA this year. 8 deg today. After wintering in TX for the last 4 years we are becoming real wus's . Can't handle the cold Wind chill is about 6 below zero now.

I drive my cars & trucks at (40) below,with the heater on. I ride my Snowmobile at (20-30) below with NO heat! Dress warm in your Motorhome and have fun! Youroo!!

We will be going to RGV first week of January. We have left Ontario in very cold weather some years. DW will not leave before the holidays. We stay in a Motel until we get to a place where I can get the antifreeze out of the water system without me freezing. I'm more concerned about ice and snow on the roads then cold.

I've lived in the RGV my whole life and have to agree with you. We've been in the forties all day and it's just way too cold for my taste! Thank god we should be back in the seventies by Thursday.

Agreed. Temps don't matter near so much as road conditions. Can't drive on ice!
