Heading Out

Going on a much deserved vacation for two weeks. We will never be more then 110 miles from home this trip. MH is loaded, Escape is attached and bike rack and bikes are ready to go. I would leave now but they expect me to work tomorrow, half day. We are heading down to Hells Canyon on the Snake River. Going to stay at 3 different parks along the Snake. I won't get any sleep tonight!!!!!

Leaving tomorrow morning. Not for 2 weeks though.

Good luck out there. Keep the road gremlins at bay.

Hope you all have a great time. Be safe and enjoy it! We'll be heading out next Thursady to the Hershey PA RV Show for a couple days. No NWJeeper I'm not buying another RV yet, but I'll see what you need next and send you the info.

Thanks all, we will let you know how it went.
We bought our bike rack on e-bay. It made for cars and SUV's and holds 2 bikes, holds bikes high so won't block tail lights. Works great and cost was 119.00, it is called a Buzz Rack.

I'm curious...are you towing a Ford Escape? Is it 4WD? I always have understood that Escapes were not towable unless they havve standard transmissions... I have a 2004 which I was planning to trade for a CRV.

I thought the same thing. I know there is an after market adapter for Explores but I saw nothing for Escapes and bought a 2wd to tow. Our truck at home is a 4wd so that wasn't an issue.
