Headlights
Hi,
I am new to the forum and have just purchased an 2002 Georgetown 325. My question is about the headlights. They have condensation inside and are somewhat faded and need to be replaced. I know Forest River doesn't actually make the headlights. I am wondering what else they fit. I can't put my finger on it but I know they must be used on other cars/trucks. I know alot of manufacturers use Ford headlights (Alfa, Fleetwood, etc). Does anyone have any idea or have a link for aftermarket headlights?

I know the tail lights on some manufacturers are either Ford, Chevy etc and they turn one set upside down. As for the headlights I'm not really too sure. I have a 2007 and they don't look like those so if I ever need to replace I'm not sure where I'll locate it. Guess I'll keep the fingers crossed.

There are aftermarket kits that bring the existing headlight covers back to new. They are sold at auto stores. You may have to remove them to clean them. I think your front end is simular to our 2008 Georgetown. There not that expensive.

You're definitely right about ours looking the same. My headlights are fine but if they got cracked or broke from something I wondered, other than FR, if there was any out there. I've used the Meguires on my passenger side headlight to remove the overspray of clearcoat from the paint job. It worked very well!!! Thanks for the info.

I spent some time searching on ebay for Ford headlights mostly at random. Then I sent a seller a question and he said they are exactly the same. It ends up being about a $125 savings for a new pair over the listing that specifically says "Forest River Georgetown"

Thanks you just saved me some searching. We both have 2007 Georgetowns so now I know what to get should I ever need a replacement.

I dealt with this ebay vendor for headlights for my daughter's Mustang. They are very well made. Just in case someone out there needs a set.
