Hello and welcome to FRF from SW Idaho.
Problems are an everyday fact of life, deal with them and then move on.

Camp happy, life will follow.

Welcome to the forum from west LA. Don't have a Georgetown, but we're pretty happy campers. We've had numerous problems, but we've fixed them too. Sounds like yours has been great from the comment. I wouldn't sweat all the problems you read about. It happens. BUT, if for some reason any issues ever come up or you have any questions, you are at the right place to get some answers.

At least in Heaven, RVs will be perfect, and I won't have to keep fixing them.

We have a 2013 378. It's 1 1/2 years old and only a few problems but nothing and only minor. All happened in the first 8 months so warranty covered everything. We are at grand lake of the Cherokees right now and loving it. You will have a few issue form time to time but after a while you will go for a long time without issues. Fortunately I can repair most things so when they go bad it's only an afternoon repair job.
I just wish RV repair facilities would do better at doing a job on a timely manner. They always schedule an appointment for 2 to 3 weeks out then take 2 to 3 to fix it. I have found a mobile RV repair man that will come to my house and fix anything I can't. He only charges 95 dollars and hour with no mileage charge when done at my house and will do it quickly.
Hope y'all have a no issue and happy fun vacations.

A motorhome gives you the maintenance and repair issues of having both a house and a motor vehicle. Plus there are a few extras thrown in like having a generator and propane systems. Adding to the issues, it all get shaken around every time you move.

We travel full time and get to try living in all parts of the country. We love the views and having a huge "yard" when boondocking. No property taxes, no weird neighbors, no utility bills... The benefits far outweigh the problems. So yes, we are very happy campers!

I'd say for each problem owner who reports here, there are hundreds with little to no issues. We come here for help. We stay here to help. Welcome and enjoy.

There are many of us happy campers!

I love my TT and haven't had any problems. While there seem to be a lot of unhappy campers the number is lower than it looks considering there are 62,071 FRF members with some 600,000+ posts. But even so, one unhappy owner is one too many....

Welcome. Just keep in mind there are several million RVs on the road. Many come here for help but more never look for us because they aren't seeking help. On my third RV, second fr, and happy happy happy!

Welcome Paula Jean,
I just had to respond to your post you have the same name as our oldest daughter. We also have Georgetown 378 ours is a 2012 and we did have some problems in the first year but Forest River looked after everything. If you are the second owner most of your problems should have been looked after. If you are the first owner you have a year of warranty to have everything looked after. I hope you have a good dealer. I have had Forest River fix a number of things at no charge after the warranty period. This forum is a good place to get help if you need it.

Welcome and we have a 2012 378XL and love it. Had a couple minor issues and FR took care of them all. Again these were very minor and were components that FR did not produce, Vendor issues. Love the motorhome and would purchase another FR product when the time comes.. Good Luck and Safe travels....
