Help! My leveling jacks are stuck down and my slides are stuck in
Can anyone help with this. We just moved to a new site and after arrival the jacks went part way down and stopped. The slides won't go out at all. I don't know where to begin. I'm wondering if perhaps the hydraulic fluid is low and am going out to look for it. Any help is appreciated.
We have a 2015 Georgetown XL 360 with two slides.

B and B,
How do I know if it's working. I have looked everywhere and can't even find where to check the hydraulic fluid. I have looked through my manuals and there is nothing for any of these systems except normal use.
The front jacks are up but the back ones are fully down. The bed is up against the fuse box so I can't check the fuses.
Thanks again

Me too
Hi Juley,
I have the same problem and can't figure out how to check the fluid level. The manual is void of this information.
Did you acquire a solution? If so, I'd to know what it is.

Found the Hydraulic Fluid Reservoir
OK, I found the hydraulics under the entry stairs. I had to remove the step cover and it is down inside. I can see there is fluid in the tank but there don't appear to be any lines to indicate the appropriate levels. There is a cap with a dipstick and the dipstick does go down into the fluid. Any thoughts??

The breaker for the hydraulics will be near your coach batteries.

There is a circuit breaker under the steps near the batteries, it's black with a couple of terminals on it, it has a red push reset button, if the little red flag is kicked out, it's tripped, just push the red flag back into position and it will click into place, and see if that helps, also engine running, park brake set for jacks to work, engine off - key removed to get slides in/out.

Thank you! I got the jacks up. One of the breakers under the stairs was tripped. However I still can't get the slides out. Any more thoughts?

Still no luck
We finally found the reservoir in an outside compartment under the slide behind the drivers area. The fluid level is fine.
We could not locate a breaker.
Any other ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Under the stairs there is a bunch of fuses under a cover. I can't remember which one it is but I think it is a 5 amp fuse. Check them and see which is blown. It's caused by over extended the levers. Blows the big breaker and one fuse the staircase.

We're back in business
We did find that there was a blown fuse in that obscure box under the stairs. I had to unhook the battery cables and take the cover off. The first fuse on the right side was a 15 amp fuse and it was the culprit for the slides. The breakers just to the right of the box with fuses was the problem with the landing gear.
Goofy Grandma, here is a photo. The breakers don't look like a regular breaker. There is a red leaver in the side of the breaker that pops out when it is blown. You have to push it back in.

Thanks for the picture
Glad you found the fixes to your problems, and thank you for posting the picture of the fuses. I wouldn't have thought to look there and don't know if our Georgetown 270S is like that until I go to the storage area and have a look.

The BIG question is.
Why did the breaker and fuseS fulfill their reason for being?
Do use the slides and levelers on battery power alone?
Low batteries will cause your problem.
Commercial power (if available) is always the very first/last thing I do.
If it's not available I always run the generator.

Amen! But I guess the take-away's for me on this thread are (A) pictures are worth a MILLION words! and (B) I need to get some spare fuses to add to my tool kit.

Glad you have solved your problem. We have had the same problem before with our Georgetown XL.
Now I have a major problem for which I need guidance! I have been parked at my Sons home, taking care of our new Grandbaby. I have used been parked on a somewhat unlevel grassy area for several weeks with no problems. Rear jacks extended about 3/4. After a torrential rain this week that left the ground soaked the motorhome seemed to have settled some, so as I decided to relocate to a more solid area I retracted the jacks. That is when my problems started. As the jacks started to retract the motorhome shifted very hard to the side bending both rear jacks about 30 degrees in the extended position. It seems impossible to retract the rear jacks as they are dug into the soft wet soil. I can't move the motorhome with the jacks stuck down and bent. They seem to have a lot of pressure on them. Any solutions from anyone!!

To me I would guess first you need to dig around and under the jacks till you get the pressure off the jacks.. And then if they are like ours on the 364 unbolt them and see if they can be fixed or order new jacks.. Very bad news but hope things improve..

That looks like the best plan so far. The soil is very soft and saturated from all the rain. Does anyone have experience disconnecting the hyd hoses from the jacks? The jacks bolt on my rig also, so that should not be a big issue. No idea at this time as to the cost to replace the two jacks. I don't think repair I possible because of the angle of the bend. I guess my next contact will be to lippert!
Thanks for the input.
Harvey
