Help! Slide cables won't retract into the wall anymore

Any thoughts?. It's should retract the cable up into the wall but it's not anymore.

Yes. The only problem is the cables won't retract up into the corner pocket of the wall

I ran my slides in and out a few times yesterday to try to see what pulls that harness in. Honestly don't have an answer for you other than it appears to just push itself it. Have you tried just gently pushing it to see if it will go back in place and maybe fix itself?

That's what I figured, that it was just feed into the wall. The plastic pice that hold the cable broke and won't let it force itself in anymore. The coach is only 3 months old. Seems like a design flaw.

Had the same problem. The plastic housing had broken in two places and wouldn't feed into the hole in the floor when I extended the slide. Had to guide the housing into the hole with a broomstick until I could get a look at the problem. I got access to the mechanism through one of the outside access doors. I snapped the plastic housing back together but it came apart again the first time I moved the slide out and back in. The cable that the housing is supposed to protect is in a small space between the dinette and the wall and has virtually no chance of being stepped on or having something set down on top of it, so I removed the plastic housing from the cable up to the point it comes out of the floor when the slide is in. Worked just fine after that. I watched it several times to make sure but there has never been any more binding on the cable going out or coming in. The hole where the cable goes into the floor has a plastic guard around it so there is no wear on the cable.
