Help with new coach problems

We just purchased a new '11 Georgetown 350TS and had our first trip. It was a lot easier to set the motor home compared to our 5th wheel. We had a couple of issues. Half way to our destination the jacks said one was down (when I looked all were up) and beeped for the rest of the trip. Upon arrival the slides would not move and the jacks didn't work. Ended up being a leaky o-ring at the pump which was an easy fix (but of course it had to be raining while fixing it lol). I had two other little issues and wonder if they are easy to fix or if I have to drive to the dealer to fix them. First when we try to listen to the home theater system (RCA RTD317M) all we get is static unless I unplug the video jack from the system. Is this because of the cheap rca wiring or the cheap RCA unit? Also I don't know if it's normal but when we were running the heat the front a/c fan would turn on and stay on unless we turned off the heat. The heater would cycle but the a/c fan came on and stayed on. The air from the a/c was not warm but not cold. we were dealing with temps ranging from 48 F down to 38 F any input would be great. This is our first motor home. We have had a Rockwood tt and a 5th wheel toy hauler and the a/c and stereo problem are both first's for me.

The furnace and AC although connected to the same T-stat are independent from each other. The Fan switch is only connected to the AC unit. The furnace blower operates through the controls within the furnace. So unless you have the Fan switch in the On position the fan should not be coming on. If the switch is in the Auto position and the fan is coming on then there has to be an internal problem in the T-Stat. If this is the cases it's a quick fix at your dealer since it's under warranty. But first check the thermostat wire connections just to be sure there is not a wire touching 2 terminals.

I called Dometic and they told me how to fix it. The controller is called the single Zone LCD Thermostat. When you press the on/off Mode button it goes through fan/cool/furnace and the temperature is adjusted with the + or -. When you are in fan mode press the + or - until you see au (auto). Otherwise the A/C fan will stay on in either hi or low speed.

I also found the problem with the RCA player. Somewhere in the run the video wire is grounding. So with the DW approval I bought a Sony Blu-Ray home theater system and am running a HDMI cable to the TV for a hi def pic. Much nicer picture then the factory wiring
