LOL, My TomTom has Homer Simpson's voice. It offers observational comments like "Why does stuff have to cost stuff" when on a toll road and "You have reached your destination, you are a genius". The kids think it's hilarious.

I think, in general, when a posted road sign says "Truck" it is referring to commercial trucks.

The best way to know for sure is to check directly with a patrol office in your state. Each state may have traffic laws specific to that state, ie: California I believe has a lower speed limit for RVs, but most other states do not.

I have two constant reminders, one is my DW and the other is my GPS that says in the most aggravating voice, "warning you going too fast" over and over until I get the speed lower.

Personally I limit myself to 60 mph which is plenty fast enough driving a 24,000 # rv down the road safely. My sports car is a different story.

FYI all you lead footed out there, the speed limit signs are being changes starting this morning.

So it is 70 MPH for big trucks and 80 MPH for everything that wants to go that fast.

Some say our "roads" will red with blood because no one needs to go that fast.

Just remember it's not legal till you see the new signs up.

Good luck and be safe.
