Hot air blowing on drivers feet/legs

While driving our 351ds Georgetown we have unbearable hot air blowing on our feet/legs...does anyone else have this and is this something we just have to endure with the engine being there or is this not right and we need to get it checked out?

I noticed the same on my trip home from the dealer. I did find that the engine cover was not latched properly and thought that heat from the engine was entering through the gap. I adjusted the latches so that the cover fits tightly, but haven't had the opportunity check the results yet. I'll keep you posted...

Did it totally go away when you tightened the latches? Ours has always been cool even during long trips. If you still have some heat, see if it's coming out of the heater vents.

If tightening the latches does not totally solve the problem keep checking. We have never had that problem with ours either
