If it ain't leaking I wouldn't mess with it till after the season. Just saying. Unless they will take responsibility which I doubt. AND do the winterizing yourself next time and test the anode threads when you take it out, that way you can figure out what to do and have several months to do it.

It sounds like they damaged it and now they are trying to cover it up. This has happened to me a couple of times. First they some how broke the toilet seat cover and lost the drive side screen. All this while they where fixing the auto steps.
