Household fridge / Gtown 360 XL

Ok our coach is a 2014 and last year we kept the heat on inside our unit when the temp was below freezing. We have the luxury of parking across the driveway from our house. It stays plugged in 100% of the time and the fridge stays on 100% of the time. Now here's the question. I seem to remember reading somewhere in all the paperwork that the temp should always be kept 40 or above. But, with nothing in the tanks and pink antifreeze in the traps, will the fridge be hurt if there is no heat on? The ice maker is off and no water in the lines. Ok no heat or heat?

Don't know about running the fridge when it's freezing outside, think I would shut it off. As long as all the water is blown out of the lines and the ice maker cycled a couple of times and antifreeze in the traps you should be good to go with no heat.

Why do you think you must have your refrigerator plugged in during the winter? Especially if you don't have anything inside and ice maker off and water lines to ice maker drained?
I would unplug the refrigerator.

Now I also would add a small electric heater to keep the interior temps above 32. A little 850 watt ceramic heater with safety shutoff should do.

We keep our rig plugged in all the time, we shut the fridge off unless we are going out again.....soon. We don't worry about freeze here in Florida. My advice shut it off.

Operating the refrigerator compressor in below freezing temps can hurt it. Turn the refer off when in storage with some baking soda to absorb any food odors.

I know, lots of folks keep a beer box in an unheated garage all winter but those compressors are typically older designs and are a little heavier built.
