How do you control the hard water

Have you ever given any thoughts to your hot water tank. Most of the class A have a Suburban hot water tank and that model has a sacrificing rod down at the bottom because the tank is made of steel. And you want to sacrifice the rod as opposed to burning holes in your steel hot water tank.
One way I protect the element the tank and a matter of fact all my other fittings in my RV is by using a watts water softener.

Here is the link on how I keep my tank and all the plumbing lime free

RV-PRO 10,000 Portable Water Softener

I use the RV-PRO 10,000 portable water softener which pretty much looks identical to the one in the OP's uTube video. I ordered it on line from FlowPur for $173 with no sales tax nor shipping charge. Has worked well for us since June of this year. Will perform my first recharge in a few weeks.
