How long?

I wonder if anyone can tell me (from their own experience) the typical time it takes from order to delivery of a custom unit? I haven't ordered anything yet, I would just like to know for planning purposes. Thanks in advance for your responses.

I have one on order and have been told 6-8 weeks. It was ordered about 2 weeks ago and have found out that the factory has it scheduled for Nov. 22. You can be sure that deliveries vary considerably depending on seasonal variations in demand. My last unit (a Roo TT) was ordered in September for delivery in October and was not shipped until February due to Katrina.

Ordered a unit in February and it took about 8 weeks to the dealer and it took the dealer 2 weeks to prep it (which means the dealer did nothing but install a battery and 2 propane tanks)

Days camped in 2014...about 40

We ordered from RVWholesalers July 19,2010 (Rockwood Windjammer 3065). Manufacture date was Aug 24,2010. Released from the Factory for shipment Aug 28,2010. We picked the camper up in Ohio (Home Base for RVW) on Sept 2,2010. Was told normally a custom camper takes 8-10 weeks. We were lucky that they had ordered a TT like the one we wanted a few weeks before so we took that scheduled order for them (RVW) and added the options we wanted so it was a shorter wait than usual. We were very happy with the service we recieved ! ( Preston Rogan was our salesman)
