How much oil?

I bought a new 2002 Winnebago Minnie and there was always a question about how much oil it held due to a supposed Dipstick problem. It had The Triton V-10. Last year bought a new Georgetown series 5 with the V-10. The dealer said 7 quarts of oil everything else says 6. I did my first 5000 mile oil change myself today and added 6 quarts with a new filter. It appears to be at least half quart low on the dip stick. What is the correct amount?

Even my 02 V-10 Ford Excursion said 6.5 qts. However when I changed the oil I always put in 7 qts. It was over the mark by a hair but not enough to cause issues. So I say go with the 7 qts. I haven't done my 2012 F53 yet, but I'm expecting the same.
